Name: Brad Robb
Teach: I presently teach Integrated Math 3, Honors Integrated Math 3, and AP Calculus AB at El Diamante High School in Visalia, CA.
College: MS in Education with and Emphasis in Technology at Walden University, Teacher Education and BS in Teaching Mathematics at Fresno Pacific University.
Family: Married with two beautiful daughters.
Church: My family and I are part of a local Christian church family. I am an AWANA Sparks Director and teach Sunday School almost every other week. I am also part of a life group and several small groups. My relationship with Jesus Christ is central to who I am and the decisions I make. I know that I’m not always the most loving/caring teacher at times, but God created me with a rather unique analytical personality that struggles in this area. I constantly pray for more compassion, but I do care about the success of every one of my students.
Sports Played: I played basketball at Fresno Pacific University (it helps to be 6′ 7″). I also played baseball, football and basketball in high school. Oddly enough, I did not start playing basketball until my Junior year. As a child I played baseball and soccer.
Hobbies: I regularly play ultimate frisbee and softball. When I have the chance I play disc golf and board games. I also love to watch movies, listen to podcasts, pray for people, and read my Bible. Most of all, spending time together as a family with my wife and kids.
Miscellaneous Facts: I grew up in Fresno. I have been teaching since August of 1999. During the summer of 2004 I backpacked from Mineral King to the Whitney Portal (60.8 miles) with 10 other men from my church. I went paragliding in the Swiss Alps. During my honeymoon, my wife and I went skydiving. Myself and two friends built an igloo and slept in it. I have family that live in Germany. When I relax I feel guilty. I don’t like chocolate. I teach an online professional development course through FPU called Expand Your Classroom with YouTube.
